Bill Steinauer, President
Bill Steinauer has been on the board for 4 years and the president for 3 years. He and his family moved to Warwick in 1997 and began going to the Saturday night films at the center. He and board member Nora Elcar-Verdon now show the films. Bill is retired after spending nearly five decades in the newspaper business. He is married to Judi; they have two children. Angela Cresser, Secretary
Angela attended Loyola University in Chicago and received a B.S. in Behavioral Psychology and Women's Studies.She spent her professional career working in advertising, focusing on new business development, project management,and process efficiency. Married with 2 great kids, Angela enjoys all that Warwick has to offer. She spends her time gardening, volunteering and getting tangled up in fiber arts! Keith S Kaplan, Treasurer
Keith is a Certified Public Accountant with 31 years of Public and Private Industry accounting experience within Manufacturing, Distribution, Service and Retail industries. He also has extensive experience in the preparation of Individual, Corporation, and Partnership tax returns and filings. |
Sharlene Miller-Pizza
Sharlene Miller-Pizza, a 4th generation "Warwickian", has grown up hearing stories about her family attending the community center when it was still a high school. Being a mother herself now, Sharlene's three daughters have all been involved with the WVCC in one way or another, and she strives to help the center continue offering the community the many important programs that it has! She is currently a preschool teacher and an active member of the community. Carol Hope Arbor, Board Member
I attended Antitoch college and spent a semester studying in Guanajuato, Mexico and then more than a year working and studying in France and Switzerland. After I graduated from Columbia University, I went to NYU School of Law an obtained my JD degree in 1968 with Honors in Torts. I have spent my career doing public service and was a founding member of the first all women law firm in the United States. I became a judge in 1984 and served on civil court, Criminal Court, Supreme Court, and Supreme Court Civil until I retired in 2001 and now do various forms of art (including sculpture) and continue to do public service. |
Nora Elcar-Verdon
Nora has worked in film and television for over 20 years, and currently works as a script supervisor. Having moved into the Warwick area 12 years ago she has been drawn to the many cultural and social services held through the Community Center and has done various volunteer work for the Center, including co-hosting the bi-monthly Film Club on Saturday nights. Amy is a lover of Warwick, and founded her design practice-AGRISCULPTURE on the Sweetman Dairy Farm of Warwick in 2012. With a professional background in architecture and certification in welding, Amy loves manifesting the rustic spirit of Warwick into custom metal works. From fountains to forks fences.....Amy loves designing in and for Warwick! |
