The Warwick Valley Community Center is pleased to announce its second 3 Pines Nature Place program
beginning April. Noted nature educator, Pam Golben, is teaching this Winter Nature Program for 2-4 year old preschoolers and their parents/caretakers starting on Tuesday, January 23.
Little Cones, 3 Pines Nature Place's first official program, will run every Tuesday from 9:30 - 10:30 for six weeks. 3 Pines Nature Place is located at the Community Center in the Village of Warwick. The cost for the series is $90 and there are only 8 spots left available.
Little Cones nature series includes both indoor and outdoor activity, live animals & sound recordings along with a craft and a story. Each week will cover a winter topic such as animal tracks, what animals eat & where they sleep, groundhog day and hibernation, backyard birds, maple sugaring and more. “CONES” reflects the mission of the new 3-Pines Nature Place.

The Center is proud to have Pam bring her many years of experience to 3 Pines. Mrs. Golben's degrees are in Animal and Environmental Science. She has been a NYS Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator for over 20 years and is known for her unique approaches to teaching toddlers and preschoolers about 'everything nature!' In addition to teaching about nature at a nearby Nature Museum she enjoys beekeeping, growing native wildflowers, hiking the great outdoors and gardening!
